Absolute Home Improvements has recently completed a window and siding replacement project in Franklin, WI. The project involved the installation of two double double-hung Alside Mezzo vinyl windows with white frames that offer more natural light and ventilation to the home. To ensure maximum energy efficiency, we used the ClimaTech glass package with double pane double strength glass, a low-e3 glass coating, and argon-filled glass. We also added enhanced cavity foam-filled frames to further improve the window’s energy efficiency rating. On the interior, we installed a primed white pine ranch casing to give the windows a refined finish. On the exterior, we added custom-bent aluminum trim in white to complement the existing style of the home.
Regarding the siding, we removed all existing layers of siding materials and installed Tyvek housewrap and taped all seams to create a complete weather-tight barrier. The siding we installed is Mastic Quest .046 premium vinyl siding, which has a beautiful English Wedgewood color and is designed to last for years. We also installed matching corner posts to provide a seamless finish and transform the home’s look.
