Absolute Home Improvements recently completed another successful re-roof and gutter replacement project. The team began by removing all existing layers of roofing and conducting a thorough deck inspection to ensure that the base of the roofing system was solid. We then installed ice shield on the eaves and synthetic underlayment on the remaining roof surface as the first layer of water protection. Additionally, they upgraded the home’s exhaust ventilation to the Owens Corning VentSure ridge vent system, which is known for its ability to increase air circulation and reduce moisture buildup.
For the roofing material, the team installed Owens Corning limited lifetime Duration shingles in Slatestone Grey, which not only offer excellent protection against the elements but also add a touch of elegance to the home’s aesthetic. The roofing material was installed with great care and attention to detail to ensure a seamless finish.
In addition to the roofing work, Absolute Home Improvements also installed Norandex Norwegian Wood 5″ K-Style aluminum gutters and 3″ x 4″ aluminum downspouts on the garage to guarantee adequate water drainage. The team ensured that the gutters were securely fastened and sloped correctly to prevent water from accumulating.
